In my 20 years of working in tech, I’ve never felt more at home than in a start-up environment. Being able to build the marketing team and demand generation infrastructure from the ground up is what motivates me every morning.
At Demisto, I was in charge of all outbound marketing endeavors and to grow a team to meet market demand. We had a total of 8 US employees in the Cupertino townhouse back in the Fall of 2016. And in less than 3 years, we grew to over 100 employees (including a marketing team of 9 people) and got acquired by Palo Alto Networks for $560 million dollars. It was an incredible journey and something I want to repeat in my career.
And that’s why I joined Dasera. I am honored to be part of this visionary company who is reinventing the way businesses secure data. Dasera is truly committed to breaking the status quo — not only by hiring female executives — but also by helping businesses across the globe rethink what it means to keep their data safe.
But disrupting data security doesn’t happen overnight, and it doesn’t happen alone. It requires a whole team dedicated to building a product that truly solves a real customer pain point. With the security perimeter dissolving, it’s never been more important than ever to safeguard our customers’ most valuable assets — their data and their people.
Here’s to a new era of data security, a new age of thinking, and a bright future where businesses are more equipped to handle today’s and tomorrow’s threats.
